Gluten Free Vegan Ice Cream Recipe

This Gluten Free Vegan Ice Cream Recipe is super easy and super versatile. Add your favorite mix-ins like gluten free cookie dough, or leave it plain and serve with a cookie or in a homemade gluten free waffle cone. However you like your ice cream, you'll like this even better because ice cream is meant to be shared!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 quart almond milk or other milk of choice
  • 1 can 13.5 ounces full fat (12-14 gr) coconut milk, shaken
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 OWYN protein drink 12 ounces
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup sugar optional
  • chocolate chips gluten free cookie crumbs, etc (optional)
  • rock salt ice ... whatever your ice maker requires

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl, whisking until completely mixed.
  • Add any other mix-ins like chocolate chips.
  • Add mixture to ice cream maker and follow your machine's instructions to make ice cream. Using the White Mountain Mixer pictured above, it took around 20 minutes to set up.
  • Serve immediately or transfer to a sealed container and freeze until serving.
