Contest! It’s as easy as watching a yummy video!

Perhaps it's the Southern Girl in me, but I love giving gifts. Birthdays and gift-giving holidays don't come around often enough for me though, so I've decided to create more occasions to give fun stuff to my friends!

In my gluten-free world, the release of this video is excuse enough for me! I'm really excited about this video, as it represents a TON of baking and time photographing my recipes. The funny part is that it's just the tip of my baking iceburg, so to speak, but it's still a lot of food!

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do – when I can't think of what I want to make next, I always get hungry from something in this video that gives me a good idea for my next meal or treat!

Have a look, and leave a comment telling me which food you see that's your favorite! Leave another comment telling me which testimonial at the end of the video is your favorite. Each of these comments (you can leave up to 2) will enter you to win goodies!!! (I suppose, technically, you could get a friend to comment for you too, increasing your odds of winning … if they agree to share the prize!)

1st prize: Jules Gluten Free Welcome Pack:

One 5-pound bag of my gfJules™ All Purpose Flour that you can use to make ANY of the foods in this video

+

my Baker's Dozen E-book with 13 no-compromise, easy-to-make recipes (many of those pictured in the video!) & my ingredient substitution guide for other food sensitivities or allergies, all in a handy electronic format

2d prize: My favorite new, super cool Thermador t-shirt, emblazened with the important question, "Do You Cook?" in full Swarovski Crystal bling!

Leave 2 comments by Saturday July 9 12:00pm ET for 2 chances to win!

    • Laura – hopefully you can clean out that fridge and just use one GF now! Use the extra space for fresh fruits & veggies, hummus, tapanade … all the wonderful additions to your favorite recipes!

  3. Really glad that I found your site. Can’t wait to try out this product. I have only been gluten-free for a few months. diagonised with Celiacs in Dec. 2010. What I miss the most is baking. I am a baker and it hurts so much to pull out bricks instead of bread.

  4. Hello Jules…I’ve been using your flour for a little over 2 years (when I got diagnosed) and it’s the ONLY one that works and taste’s good!! Keep up the wonderful work you and your team do. It’s such a pleasure reading your posts and being able to leave some comments…especially when YOU respond back!! HOOT-HOOT Jules!! Well wishes. Tammie :o) …

  5. My favorite testimonial was Michelle S. from Humboldt, IA. I know what she means about trying so many other flours first (all-purpose and self-blended). Nothing compares to your flour. In fact, some people think my “old” recipes are even better now!

  6. I miss those big soft pretzels so much! It’s one of the things I have not yet attempted. Guess that’s what I need to put on my to-do list.

  9. Favorite comment is Cheryl W’s on Facebook, saying this is the best gluten free flour – she uses it cup for cup as a replacement for wheat flour and it is delicious! BTW, have a Happy 4th of July, Jules! :) p.s. – I must say that sandwich w/the sprouts & cheese looks so appealing to me!

  10. Love Michele S.’s testimonial. Mouth-feel in GF products is everything so I thought that one really hit home.

    • I agree, Jennifer. The distinct texture of so many GF foods is what I was so important for me to get beyond with my flour and recipes. It’s the best feeling to have people who aren’t GF taste your food and never suspect there’s anything different!

  11. Your book on living with Celiac Disease was the first book I read. It saved my sanity. Everything I needed to know right away was addressed in that book. I also have your Nearly Normal cookbook and Free For All Cooking. I made the pumpkin bars vegan style so that my daughter’s room mate would have dessert that she could eat too. They were so good and she was so happy.

  12. And my favorite item from the video? I have to go with the chocolate chip cookies! I did make them and they are WONDERFUL!! I also used Jules’ cookie mix to make some and they completely blew me away! Oh so good!!! I may have to whip up a batch for my 4th of July party today!! The non-celiacs attending will love them! Or maybe I just won’t share! :)

  13. I am so thankful for your flour and other products!! I thought after 2 years of being the only celiac in the house, I would never be able to have flour based products(cookies, biscuits, my grandmother’s recipe for noodles) again and silently cried on the inside when others were enjoying these normally gluten filled foods. Now, I can make them for everyone and enjoy the simply joy of sharing with my family and feeling like I’m just like them. It’s not the food that you’ve given back, it’s the memories and sharing with my family. And for that I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Jules!!

  14. I have no favorites…would love to try each and every one of your beautiful desserts, breads, cookies, etc. Would you please come to my house on Cape Cod and make anything for me? Maybe do a demo and invite all my GF friends? That would be wonderful!
