Perhaps it's the Southern Girl in me, but I love giving gifts. Birthdays and gift-giving holidays don't come around often enough for me though, so I've decided to create more occasions to give fun stuff to my friends!
In my gluten-free world, the release of this video is excuse enough for me! I'm really excited about this video, as it represents a TON of baking and time photographing my recipes. The funny part is that it's just the tip of my baking iceburg, so to speak, but it's still a lot of food!
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do – when I can't think of what I want to make next, I always get hungry from something in this video that gives me a good idea for my next meal or treat!
Have a look, and leave a comment telling me which food you see that's your favorite! Leave another comment telling me which testimonial at the end of the video is your favorite. Each of these comments (you can leave up to 2) will enter you to win goodies!!! (I suppose, technically, you could get a friend to comment for you too, increasing your odds of winning … if they agree to share the prize!)
1st prize: Jules Gluten Free Welcome Pack:

Michelle H is soo right on spot. I have so many flours stored in my refridge. trying to get it ‘right’ Even ended up buying a bigger refrigerator to make room for it all.
Laura – hopefully you can clean out that fridge and just use one GF now! Use the extra space for fresh fruits & veggies, hummus, tapanade … all the wonderful additions to your favorite recipes!
…thank YOU…thank YOU…thank YOU…that just about sums it up…
Happy GF days to all and continue the strong fight for GF labels…
Tammie – will do!
Really glad that I found your site. Can’t wait to try out this product. I have only been gluten-free for a few months. diagonised with Celiacs in Dec. 2010. What I miss the most is baking. I am a baker and it hurts so much to pull out bricks instead of bread.
Hello Jules…I’ve been using your flour for a little over 2 years (when I got diagnosed) and it’s the ONLY one that works and taste’s good!! Keep up the wonderful work you and your team do. It’s such a pleasure reading your posts and being able to leave some comments…especially when YOU respond back!! HOOT-HOOT Jules!! Well wishes. Tammie :o) …
My favorite testimonial was Michelle S. from Humboldt, IA. I know what she means about trying so many other flours first (all-purpose and self-blended). Nothing compares to your flour. In fact, some people think my “old” recipes are even better now!
I miss those big soft pretzels so much! It’s one of the things I have not yet attempted. Guess that’s what I need to put on my to-do list.
Suzanne – the pretzels are easier than you think!! You must try them!
Hi Jules, Glad you’re out there spreading the word. I’ve been GF for almost 12 years and it’s sooo much better now with all the awareness. Life gets better when you go GF!!
Thanks for all you do!
Karen
Thanks Karen! I agree – we’ve come worlds from where we were 12 years ago!!! Yay us!
Just received my first shipment of your products (flour, cookie and bread mix)! Made chocolate chip cookies and boy, are they delicious! Taste just like the gluten filled ones and no funny after tatse! Can hardly wait to make bread and other goodies this week! Thank you soooo much!!!
Favorite comment is Cheryl W’s on Facebook, saying this is the best gluten free flour – she uses it cup for cup as a replacement for wheat flour and it is delicious! BTW, have a Happy 4th of July, Jules! p.s. – I must say that sandwich w/the sprouts & cheese looks so appealing to me!
Love Michele S.’s testimonial. Mouth-feel in GF products is everything so I thought that one really hit home.
I agree, Jennifer. The distinct texture of so many GF foods is what I was so important for me to get beyond with my flour and recipes. It’s the best feeling to have people who aren’t GF taste your food and never suspect there’s anything different!
I had such longing when I saw the big, soft pretzels.
Your book on living with Celiac Disease was the first book I read. It saved my sanity. Everything I needed to know right away was addressed in that book. I also have your Nearly Normal cookbook and Free For All Cooking. I made the pumpkin bars vegan style so that my daughter’s room mate would have dessert that she could eat too. They were so good and she was so happy.
Barb – I’m so happy my books have been a help to you!
I’d love to make the doughnuts. I haven’t had one since my diagnosis two and a half years ago.
And my favorite item from the video? I have to go with the chocolate chip cookies! I did make them and they are WONDERFUL!! I also used Jules’ cookie mix to make some and they completely blew me away! Oh so good!!! I may have to whip up a batch for my 4th of July party today!! The non-celiacs attending will love them! Or maybe I just won’t share!
Lisa – CONGRATULATIONS! You won that adorable Thermador “Do You Cook?” t-shirt!!! Email your address to [email protected] so we can send it to you right away!!!
I am so thankful for your flour and other products!! I thought after 2 years of being the only celiac in the house, I would never be able to have flour based products(cookies, biscuits, my grandmother’s recipe for noodles) again and silently cried on the inside when others were enjoying these normally gluten filled foods. Now, I can make them for everyone and enjoy the simply joy of sharing with my family and feeling like I’m just like them. It’s not the food that you’ve given back, it’s the memories and sharing with my family. And for that I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Jules!!
Lisa – I have been right where you were and totally understand that feeling. I’m thrilled that you have hope again for sharing food and meals with your family!!!!
I have no favorites…would love to try each and every one of your beautiful desserts, breads, cookies, etc. Would you please come to my house on Cape Cod and make anything for me? Maybe do a demo and invite all my GF friends? That would be wonderful!
Sounds great, Jan! Sign me up!
Oh my gosh, my mouth was watering just watching your video! I must get me some of your wonderful sounding flour which makes the most delicious looking baked foods. Thanks, Jules!
I appreciated the testimonial from Rae W. from PA whose said everything she’s baked turns out superb.
It all looks AMAZING! Probably my choice would be the tart. I haven’t had a tart since going gf. Great video!
I have flour again, it always panics me when I run low of your wonderful flour. Off we go to the kitchen for more good ole goodies. My husband says that he loves your flour too and he isn’t even a g-free-head. hehehe
Jean – love it!
