Talk about a recipe for awesomeness! Fifty years ago on November 22, all the best ingredients and circumstances came together and were perfectly blended into what many believe (present company included) was truly a heaven-sent angel. I hope you’ll take a minute to leave a comment on this fabulous ‘recipe’ that is Our Jules. I thought this recipe medium was appropriate, for our indefatigable recipe-writing, community-moderating, champion-of-all-Gluten-Free-Folks Jules. It doesn’t have to be long, but wish her well in this ‘different’ year where we couldn’t throw her a 50th Birthday Bash if she’d allowed it.

So give this inimitable concoction we call Jules your birthday-greeting/review in the comment box below. Thanks in advance!

  1. “Hey, Jules.🎵 You’ve never let me down!🎶”
Ten years ago I had radiation for breast cancer. Since the tumor was deep, it compromised my intestines. For nearly 9 months, I had little hope of returning to normalcy. . .until a naturopathic doctor suggested “gluten sensitivity”. Within DAYS, i was feeling better and my system calmed down. For several months, I ate the cardboard, store bought products or made my own. When I read you had the #1 flour, I began buying it and other products. I can now take foods to an event and the products taste and visually resemble non-gluten-free food. I have given your website, flour and products to friends and family many, many times. . . and EVERYONE, even the disbelievers, have enjoyed the food texture and flavor. And I can use my old tried-&-trued recipes with perfect results. Thank you! Happy Birthday! And may your day and year be as happy as my adventure has been with your products, recipes and flour plus mixes. You have been a true blessing in so many lives!

Then about 2 years later, Craig joined the family, and you made him an uncle for the 1st time! You have brought so much joy into our lives with your love and beautiful smiles that have lit up every family gathering.

  11. What a wonderful way to celebrate 50.! I am sure that number is a lot less than the number of people you have helped with their gluten nightmares. I am one on the thousands. Before I found your sight, anything with flour was off the list. Now I jump on my computer and go right to your site to find recipes for just about everything. Even as I type, I just put in the “pull apart rolls”. Have an amazing celebration with those you love and thank you for sharing your 1/2 century of knowledge with the rest of us.
