Talk about a recipe for awesomeness! Fifty years ago on November 22, all the best ingredients and circumstances came together and were perfectly blended into what many believe (present company included) was truly a heaven-sent angel. I hope you’ll take a minute to leave a comment on this fabulous ‘recipe’ that is Our Jules. I thought this recipe medium was appropriate, for our indefatigable recipe-writing, community-moderating, champion-of-all-Gluten-Free-Folks Jules. It doesn’t have to be long, but wish her well in this ‘different’ year where we couldn’t throw her a 50th Birthday Bash if she’d allowed it.

So give this inimitable concoction we call Jules your birthday-greeting/review in the comment box below. Thanks in advance!

INGREDIENTS:

Mix equal parts:

    • Love

    • Empathy

    • Honesty

    • Caring

    • Commitment

    • Intelligence

    • Ethics

    • Morality

    • Endless Energy

    • Creativity

    • Integrity

    • Transparency

DIRECTIONS:

Mix ’em all up, let sit for 9 months, marinate until angel wings begin to form. Enjoy!

  4. Happy Birthday Jules!!! I remember the days when you first started and we talked on the phone about my granddaughter who has celiac. She was 8 and now she is 19. You helped us out so much, we still love your flour. My last order was for 40lbs and I am almost out. She is now on her own so I probably be ordering only 10lbs at a time. I love all you products and wish you many more years of Prosperity. You have made many people happy. Best wishes!

  7. Thanks Jules for all the great recipes and for the encouraging videos.
I was fortunate to meet you at a show in Portland 2 years in a row!!! You told the audience that your 10 year-old daughter had made your bread mix while you were out and it turned out great. As a new celiac that was exactly what I needed to encourage me to jump back into baking!
My bread (your mix) was easier than pie and I haven’t stopped since.
Have a great day, and a super new year ahead.

Your flour, your recipes, and your cookbook were (and still are) a godsend to me when my son first discovered he had Celiac disease! Thank you so much! I hope you have a beautiful day!

  10. Happy Birthday Jules! I probably was one of your first followers and I still have signed copy of your first cookbook. You have come a long way since then, eh Jill? As one of your first fans can you tell me your “recipe” for aging without growing older? Enjoy your day!😊🎉🎊
