Talk about a recipe for awesomeness! Fifty years ago on November 22, all the best ingredients and circumstances came together and were perfectly blended into what many believe (present company included) was truly a heaven-sent angel. I hope you’ll take a minute to leave a comment on this fabulous ‘recipe’ that is Our Jules. I thought this recipe medium was appropriate, for our indefatigable recipe-writing, community-moderating, champion-of-all-Gluten-Free-Folks Jules. It doesn’t have to be long, but wish her well in this ‘different’ year where we couldn’t throw her a 50th Birthday Bash if she’d allowed it.

INGREDIENTS:

Mix equal parts:

    • Love

    • Empathy

    • Honesty

    • Caring

    • Commitment

    • Sense of Humor

    • Intelligence

    • Ethics

    • Morality

    • Endless Energy

    • Creativity

    • Integrity

    • Transparency

    • Humility

 

DIRECTIONS:

Mix ’em all up, let sit for 9 months, marinate until angel wings begin to form. Enjoy!

  3. Happy Birthday Jules, WOW! I can hardly remember back that far! I am 84 and through you I have once again started baking with fun and vigor. Thanks for your kindness and interest. As I thought about your name this is what I came up with.

  5. Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a fantastic day. I love your flour and especially your muffin mix. My husband, who does not like gluten free products, loved your muffins too. He couldn’t believe that they were gluten free! They are moist and not too sweet. Thank you for creating your flour blend and recipes.
