Cuisine: Dessert
Author: Divania Timmal-Jones
Ingredients
- 3 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 4 Tbs. butter or non-dairy substitute e.g. Earth Balance® Buttery Sticks, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream dairy or non-dairy
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cream ingredients together and drizzle or spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate to set.
- Note: dairy-free sour creams tend to be less thick than those with dairy. If your frosting is too thin, whisk in more confectioner's sugar, 1/4 cup at at time; if it is too thick, add more sour cream by the tablespoon until the optimum consistency is created.
