The holidays are the perfect time to show those you love how much you care through truly thoughtful gifts. Don’t be daunted by gluten-free or other dietary restrictions — your friends and family would almost certainly still love kitchen gadgets or other fun things that might make their culinary life easier. I’m happy to have done the finding for you, so all you need to do is get & wrap, then watch their faces light up as they open these thoughtful gifts.
This Gluten Free Gift Guide is designed to help with loads of ideas from inexpensive (there are even homemade gifts) to treasures destined to become heirlooms, funny to functional, personalized to posh, and everything in between.
I’ve curated 50 thoughty and nice items I’d love to receive in my stocking (hint hint) or I just went ahead and bought for myself because they’re awesome, and I think your loved ones would dig them, too.*
I’ve done my best Mrs. Claus for you and updated my popular Gluten Free Gift Guide with loads of new gift ideas this year, but feel free to check out my previous gift guide because those gifts really never go out of style.

The Perfect Last Minute Gifts for Gluten Free Friends
Fun Gifts for Gluten Free Friends
Gluten Free Toaster Sticker
YES!! This is what you’ll hear when your gluten free friend or loved one finds this gem in their stocking this year. I mean, the perfect stocking stuffer is one that will is something people NEED, right?
This gluten free toaster magnet (it doubles as a bottle opener!) is great for anyone with a “mixed” gluten/gluten-free household.
Gluten Free Tote Bag
One thing we all need when living gluten free is a sense of humor. And a tote bag to carry our own gluten free food every where we go, along with a little laugh, is the perfect combination. In fact, you could even wrap other gifts IN this bag. Voila! The gluten free tote bag!
Funny Baking Mitts and Tea Towels
I’ll never get enough of these. (Santa if you’re reading this, I’ll say it again: I’ll never get enough of these!) But they have to be funny.
What would actually be funny AND helpful would be to gift a few of these with a side of BurnJel — what every baker truly needs in their stocking and in their kitchen. (Does anyone know if this stuff ever expires?? If so, I’m adding this to my list as well.)
This one’s on my list this year.
And don’t forget the tea towels. I’m not going to show you my favorite ones of those. This is a FAMILY blog, you know?! But you can peek if you wanna.
Gluten Free T-shirts
How about some fun gluten free t’s that also give to a good cause? Sales of these custom-designed shirts raise funds for celiac disease awareness, research, and education through automatic donations to the National Celiac Association (NCA).
Choose from long sleeve, short sleeve, hoodies, and others in two different designs, as well as plenty of fun colors!
Baker’s Necklace
A little something more delicate — is that what you had in mind? There are so many fun things available on Etsy!
This baker’s necklace is just a sample of what you can find. I’m sure you’ll pick just the right gift for your gluten-free baking friend!
As with everything on Etsy, order as early as possible, and if it’s not available in one shop, check another. It may not be exactly the same, but you’re sure to find something creative and unique!
Gluten Free Kitchen Apron
A thoughtful gift for anyone who spends some time in the kitchen, and is proud to be gluten free.
Gluten Free Bread Baking Gifts
Cast Iron Bread Pan
Cast Iron bakeware is classic and meant to be passed down from generation to generation. But you might want to start over when it comes to baking gluten free in your cookware, depending on how scratched and worn it is, particularly with ironware which isn’t meant to be washed in a dishwasher.
I purchased this cast iron bread pan and have baked many a gluten free loaf in it already, so I can attest both to its beauty and to how well it bakes! Cast iron is known for even heat distribution, and the dark finish helps create a nice crust. I love this pan and the price is right.
Ceramic Bread Pan from Peugeot-Saveurs + coupon code!
I am absolutely in love with the bakeware I’ve been using from Peugeot-Saveurs. I discovered them at the Inspired Home Show, and have been baking with several of their pans ever since. Bread to brownies, casseroles and cakes … you can’t go wrong with quality French-made ceramicware.
This 10 x 4 x 3 ceramic bread baking dish is the perfect size for my large gfJules Bread Mix and so many more bread recipes on my site, so it’s been put to good use! It’s offered in multiple colors.
**Buy anything at Peugeot-Saveurs and save 15% off with code gfJules15 through January 31, 2025!**
I also love this appetizer display platter, their nutmeg and spice mills, and pretty much everything else on their site. And NOW is the time to buy a gift for yourself or some other special someone, as you can score 15% off with code gfJules15 through January 31, 2025!
Another bakeware essential is a Dutch Oven. This classic is useful for all the “S’s”: soups, stews, and of course, sourdough. The one I use and love is from Emile Henry. You may have seen it in some of my baking videos on gluten free sourdough.
This piece can take extreme temperatures and seals in the moisture from the bread, ensuring a lovely crust! Grab one in graphite like mine, or in indigo or creme.
This is a piece of bakeware that will last generations!
Sourdough Baking Accessories
Any sourdough baker knows that having the right jars (with the right lids!) is key in making sourdough starter. (YES! You can make homemade gluten free sourdough starter!) A lidded jar or two with CO2 outlets to let the gasses out without letting gnats and other unsavories in, is so helpful!
This Sourdough Starter Kit from Lekue is the perfect gift for any sourdough baker! I’ve got a gluten free sourdough going right now in these jars and have found them so useful!
But what’s even better is to pair them with the Goldie warming unit from Sourhouse. This attractive, self-contained warming unit keeps your starter jar in what they refer to as the “Goldilocks Zone” of 75-82ºF / 24-28ºC – not too hot, not too cold — the perfect temperature to grow your sourdough starter.
To find out more about making your own gluten free sourdough starter and baking your own gluten free sourdough breads, hop to my post and recipes all about it!
Gluten Free Bread Baking Kit
Everyone wants delicious gluten-free bread in their stocking, right? Ok, what I meant was, everyone wants delicious gluten free bread year-round!
And we’ve all heard the saying, “If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day, but if you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.” The same holds true with bread, only I daresay I’d rather eat bread every day than a fish! 😉 Plus, it’s actually a lot less effort to bake great gluten-free bread than to daily don waders and bait a hook.
But enough about fishing. A gluten-free bread baking gift pack is truly the gift that keeps giving, as it will teach the recipient that they have the power to bake incredible gluten-free bread, plus, they get to eat it!
Make your own pack with items like those below, or choose from our Gluten Free Bread Lover’s Pack or Gluten Free Bread Fanatic Pack!
- gfJules Gluten Free Bread Mix (voted #1 Gluten Free Bread Mix again in 2024 Gluten Free Awards!) for sandwich loaves (oven or bread machine); hamburger/hot dog buns; French bread; hoagie rolls; artisan bread; boule/bread bowls; focaccia & more!
- Banneton Proofing Basket for Artisan Bread
- Hamburger Rings
- Baguette Pan
- Bread Thermometer
- gfJules Gluten Free Bread Baking e-book
Bagel Maker with 6 Silicone Molds
I don’t know where this ingenious bagel mold set from Lekue has been all my gluten-free bagel-making life. Not that hand forming, boiling, transferring and baking bagels is difficult, mind you, but these little babies make it so you do it all on the mold without ever having to transfer the bagels at all!
Seriously — hear me out on this: you make the gluten free bagel dough (SO easy) and press each ball of dough onto the top of one of these molds which makes a perfect shaped bagel and hole. Then you drop the whole thing into the boil, then you put the whole thing into the oven. You don’t even need a pan! They’re perforated so they drain and make extra crispy bagels. They’re honestly just brilliant. They even stack so they don’t take up space, but you’ll be making bagels all the time anyway, so they’ll never be stowed.
Available at Sur La Table if sold out on Amazon.
Gluten Free Cookie Baking Gifts
Vintage Embossed Rolling Pin
While we’re on the topic of wood … how about this gorgeous wooden rolling pin? (See my unboxing video above)
If your gluten-free friend loves cookies, this would be such a lovely gift!
Wood is notorious for being difficult to really clean, so it’s recommended to get new wooden rolling pins and cutting boards when going gluten free, especially if a pin like this one has lots of nooks and crannies! I bought a carved pin earlier this year and love it — as I say, any excuse for fun new baking tools!
Just look what a gorgeous job this pin did on these gluten free Lemon Shortbread Cookies (which, incidentally, would make a great homemade gift!)
For regular rolling pins, I always suggest using these handy cheesecloth covers which hold gluten-free flour in them, making it easier to roll out any dough without using too much flour, but also keeping the dough from sticking.
Hey, another great stocking stuffer idea!
Specialty Cookie Cutters
If Etsy isn’t good for making specialty cookie cutters, I don’t know what it’s good for. I mean, honestly, sending in a pic of your pooch’s face and getting a cookie cutter so you can make gluten-free cookies that look just like him??
Now, that’s what I call a unique gift! Etsy shop link.
Of course, a more traditional but not any less personalized cookie stamp option is just as special.
These ppersonalized cookie stamps can be made to say nearly anything. You could give the gift of the stamp or buy yourself the stamp, make the cookies, and give the gift of gluten free cookies! How’s that for an idea?
This cookie cutter KIT from Lekue would also make a great gift (for yourself!) if you’re making lots of cookies to give as gifts.
The efficiency in cutting out multiple cookies with one press is impressive!!!
Of course, none of these would be possible without the right gluten free cookie dough, so grab my award-winning gfJules Gluten Free Cut-Out Cookie Mix while you’re at it. You’ll be happy you did!
It makes the perfect cut out cookies without fuss or crumbly cookies, and certainly no gritty gluten-free aftertaste.
Just the perfect sugar cookies that happen to be gluten-free (and even vegan if you wanna). They also hold their shape for things like stamps and cutters!
Cookie Gun
If you love Spritz Cookies, then you know a good Spritz gun / cookie press is a MUST-have for any cookie baker!
This quality press + a print-out of my gluten free Spritz Recipe and a bag of the gfJules Flour they need to bake it would make a fantastic gift!
Pizzelle Iron
Same goes for gluten free Pizzelles. You just can’t make them without the right tools! This classic pizzelle iron is the one I own. It makes fantastic gluten free pizzelles in the winter and homemade ice cream cones in the summer!
Print off my Gluten Free Pizzelles recipe and a bag of the gfJules Flour they need to bake them — the gift that gives all year long!
Gingerbread House Kit
Make your own fun by giving a gingerbread house kit or make the gingerbread house and give that as a gift! Either way, someone’s going to make a memory and the gluten-free gingerbread house (or houses, as the case may be) will last all season long!
Put together a gift set to give by sending a gfJules Gluten Free Graham Cracker/Gingerbread Mix plus Gingerbread House Cutter set and/or Mini Gingerbread House set.
My gfJules Gluten Free Graham Cracker / Gingerbread Mix mix makes plenty of dough to make one large gingerbread house plus plenty of gingerbread men/women or mini gingerbread houses. How fun is that?
Homemade Gluten Free Cookie Mixes in a Jar
There’s nothing like homemade gifts to show someone you care. Especially when the homemade gifts actually taste good! These cookie mixes in a jar are beautiful, thoughtful, fun, and yummy!
I’ve even created printables for you so you don’t even have to make your own labels. How’s that for easy? Both a gluten-free Sugar Cookie Jar and gluten-free Chocolate Chip Cookie Jar options are provided, both also Top 8 allergen-free! (See recipe for all the how-tos and for the printable labels)
Gluten Free Baking Tools
Best Potholders Set
We’ve all been burned by bad potholders (I mean this literally). What gluten free baker wouldn’t want GREAT potholders in their stocking this year?
These All-Clad potholders are the best, even standing up to 500F Dutch Oven temps — I’ve put them to the test!
The cotton and silicone combo gives them a non-stick grip and the size and flexibility make them useful for all kinds of reaching and grabbing. Heck, you may want to get 2 sets! They come in all kinds of fun colors, or stick to the basics.
Quality Cookie Sheet and Wire Cooling Rack
If your favorite baker doesn’t have a cooling rack, well, that should be remedied. As should any circumstance where warped, rusty or otherwise substandard cookie sheets are still in the kitchen!
This natural aluminum set from Nordic Ware is the highest quality and made in the USA. Aluminum provides excellent uniform heat conductivity and scratch resistance without a chemical non-stick coating.
Go-To Spatula
Any baker will tell you that they have a favorite spatula, and all the others are just, well, meh. Gift your favorite baker with their new favorite spatula. One that will stand the test of time and is the best for mixing batters and for tossing stir fries.
This silicone and wood spatula from Le Creuset is dishwasher safe, stiff in all the right places and bends to the sides of bowls as you’d expect. You may want to grab a second in another fun color, or make a bouquet of spatulas!
Batter Bowl
This is my favorite batter bowl, although I have a different pattern. Mason Cash has been around since 1901 and their classic patterns and colors are easily recognizable in some of your favorite cooking shows (and in my cooking videos, too!). You can’t go wrong with any of their ceramicware, but a batter bowl for pancakes is sure to be a hit! Microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
Food Scale
If your favorite foodie doesn’t have a food scale yet, it’s time. It’s past time.
Measuring flour and other ingredients by weight is so much faster and ensures the recipe is right from the start. Read all about why measuring with a scale is so important, and grab the scale here at gfJules.com with your next flour or mixes order!
Bread Knife
You’ve probably seen my favorite bread knife in photos before, but let me tell you WHY it’s my favorite bread knife.
You’ll note the offset shape right away — that’s not just to make it pretty; that keeps your hand away from the bread as you’re slicing. And the unique scalloped blade slices through bread without tearing or pulling, preserving our gorgeous gluten free breads in all their glory.
The German steel in this Hammer Stahl bread knife provides heft all the way into the handle and feels great to hold.
This knife is a perfect holiday gift because it comes in a gift box, too! Shop Hammer Stahl Cutlery here for holiday discounts.
Compact, Affordable Knife Sharpener
We all need sharp knives, but fancy knife sharpeners are a pain to pull out and use (if I’m being honest). This compact model from Hammer Stahl fits the bill with a 3 stage sharpener in a single small, hand-held unit. Easy enough for just about anyone to keep their knives in working order!
Essential Kitchen Appliances
Stand Mixer
A stand mixer is a baker’s best friend. But most are pretty pricey. So what if I told you that I’ve found a solid machine for the baker in your life for around $100? I’m in the running for Mrs. Claus, aren’t I?
Seriously, stand mixers make everything easier. No more batters crawling up the beaters on an underpowered hand mixer, and no more standing for minutes on end trying to beat that meringue to peaks. Just dump your ingredients into the bowl and let the machine do all the work for you.
This one is also light, so even if you’re storing this mixer under a cabinet, it’s not a chore to bring it out. It comes with 3 attachments including a paddle with a built in spatula which also saves you time in mixing. An LCD screen records mixing time, and super strong suction cups keep this small but mighty 660 watt machine from dancing off of the counter while at work. The metal mixing bowl is 5.8qt. (🎥Click here for my full video review of the Vevor Stand Mixer)
Use my affiliate link to grab this great price and add the discount VVPROMO for an extra 5% off!
Bread Machine
While you don’t NEED a bread machine to bake great gluten free bread (see above!) it’s fun to have a machine to do it for you, and it makes it pretty painless to just dump the gluten-free bread mix or ingredients in and push a button!
Check out my reviews for my top recommended bread machines for gluten free bread sandwich loaves. I’ve updated my reviews this year with more videos and new reviews! Lots of great gift choices here!
I’ve even found a gfJules Approved Gluten Free Bread Machine for around $100. This could be the year Santa finally slips a bread maker under the tree!
Check out my 🎥video review of this Vevor Gluten Free Bread Machine and see if it’s the one for your Nice List! (buy with my affiliate link and code VEV5Off for 5% off the already low price!)
Immersion Blender
We use this kitchen tool for so many things, I don’t know what I’d do without it, so I have to include it as a great gift idea for anyone who spends time in the kitchen, particularly if they’re short on storage space. This Braun Immersion Blender is so handy, you may just want to gift it to yourself!
Braun is also a brand that is built to last (trust me, we’ve put ours to the test!), so you shouldn’t be replacing your immersion blender any time soon. It’s worth buying one from a trusted manufacturer so it won’t fall apart or have a weak motor. Use for blending drinks, chopping nuts, mini-mixing, blending, chopping, whisking, crushing, mashing or puréeing.
Gluten Free Drinks for Cheer
How could you get more cheerful than a box of Gingerbread Men filled with Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Gingerbread Liqueur? (More info on gluten free alcohols here)
BakeSale offers both Chocolate Chip Cookie Liqueur and Gingerbread Liqueur gift boxes of 12 that are fun for drinking and for baking!
Add in place of some of the water to my gfJules Gluten-Free Gingerbread Mix for a lively kick!
Gluten Free Beer, delivered to their door!
There are so many tasty brews out now, why not send a sampler to a friend? So thoughtful, right? (HalfTime Beverage is one service offering many of your favorite gluten free beers in one place!) Check my gluten free beer tasting notes to ensure the beers listed are naturally gluten free and not actually gluten-reduced (not safe for celiacs).
Note that some states are more Scroog-y than others when it comes to allowing the delivery of alcohol, so be sure to check the laws before you get your heart set on this great gift. The breweries will know if this is something they will be able to make happen for you. My Gluten Free Beer Tasting Notes post is a great place to start to find the beer that’s right for your special someone.
If beer isn’t their thing, hard seltzers and spiked lemonade are other fizzy options.
Or opt for a variety pack of ALT-tails. How festive is that? And that way everyone can partake of the fun. NOPE – 0% alcohol Alt-tails offer enticing flavors like Mango Margarita with Jalapeño and Strawberry Basil Smash. Gluten-free, vegan, no artificial flavors or sweeteners. How thoughtful.
Personalized Drinkware & Boards
After I discovered Well Told Design, my Chapel Hill stemless wineglass quickly became my favorite. Dear Santa, I would like a matching set.
Actually, even better would be a glass with an etched map from every of my school towns. I’m sure you could think of all kinds of nifty gift ideas, too. The best thing about Well Told is that they do what they’re told. And they etch it on wine glasses, mason jars, copper mugs, insulated tumblers, champagne flutes, pint glasses … you get the idea. Check out the site and just try not to go crazy.
While we’re on the topic of personalization, one of my all-time favorite companies is Words with Boards. I’m in good company, since Oprah chose it as one of her “favorite things” a few years ago.
Kim and Mike founded this company in 2013 in Baltimore with the idea that their products would be both thoughtful and functional. They’ve added to that mission that their products would also all be made in America with sustainably harvested American hardwoods. And they plant a tree for every product sold! Oh, and their products are beautiful and totally unique! No other company makes boards like these!
You can have your friend’s name carved into the boards OR you can have “GLUTEN FREE” boldly emblazoned into one of these beauties — carved or laser engraved or both! Whatever you choose. Again, since these are all customized, you design what you like!
They even have stocking stuffers! How cute are these wooden pics, and how handy for potlucks and other meals where it’s really important to know which dishes are safe for the gluten-free folks amongst us?
Words with Boards also offers these food markers in Vegan, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, Sugar-Free, Egg-Free, and a variety pack.
Random Cool Gifts
Mushroom Grow Kit
I’ve given these mushroom grow kits as gifts and they are universally loved, even by self-professed mushroom-skeptics. They grow in a little over a week, which is darned near instant gratification in the plant world, and they’re so cool to watch. Overnight they will sometimes double or triple in size! They also have two harvests, and oh, and they’re delicious to eat!
Plus this company is amazing — if you share a photo of your kit, they’ll donate a grow kit and STEM elementary school curriculum to the school of your choice! The gift that keeps on giving!
Bee-Based Products
Feel good about the gifts you give and about supporting the companies that make them! Bee Inspired Goods was founded by Kara Brook Brown, a Maryland artist, turned beekeeper, committed to creating healthful, nurturing Bee Inspired® goods.
From honey to lip balm to candles, there are all kinds of creative gifts available on her site, like this Farm-to-Body Sack.
Natural Wraps
My daughter gave me a set of beeswax wraps last year for Christmas and I love them! It’s so nice not to have to use petroleum-based wrap for every leftover going into the fridge.
This DIY Beeswax Wrap Kit from NatureBeeWraps takes it one step further, giving your special someone all the tools they need to make their own wraps! Or perhaps you’ll buy the kit for yourself, make the wraps and gift them as a homemade gift? However you choose to gift, it’s a unique and useful way of cleaning up the kitchen with festive colors, all while not contributing to waste. (Finished wraps also available on the site)
The next natural wrap product’s origins isn’t so obvious. This product was sent to me to try by the company and I was so impressed that I had to fit it in somewhere to share with you!
Fingerless Circulation Gloves
Anyone with circulation issues or just plain ol’ cold hands this winter could use a pair of these iNCREDIWEAR circulation gloves. Incrediwear’s anti-inflammatory fabric blend is embedded with semiconductor elements to increase blood flow and help to reduce inflammation, relieve discomfort, and help reduce numbness.
iNCREDIWEAR makes all kinds of products, from socks to braces to these gloves, so if your loved one has any joint or mobility pain, this brand is a great one to check out. These gloves in particular, make a thoughtful gift for those of us who suffer from poor circulation in our fingers made worse by the cold, and are thin enough to wear under another pair of mittens during the chilly winter months.
Superfood Mushrooms Gift Set
Mushroom everything was the hottest trend coming out of Natural Products Expo over the last few years. Show your loved ones that you’re hip, trendy and thoughtful.
Om Superfood Mushroom Gift Set — Stress LessAny gift set from Om Superfood Mushrooms would be super cool of you, but the “Stress Less Bundle” definitely has my name on it. I can’t think of anyone on my list who needs more stress in their lives — can you?
A Fun Cookbook or Two
By popular demand, I’ve turned my comprehensive Gluten Free Bread Baking ebook into a full color paperback cookbook! And I updated the book with even more recipes in the process. It would be a great gift for any aspiring or accomplished gluten free bread baker.
With 80 pages of recipes, bread baking tips for oven and bread machine, and more, this 35-recipe book is a must-have for gluten free bread lovers! And if you’re in need of a last-minute gift, you can still send the e-book version which offers immediate downloading.
I also have 9 other themed gluten free e-books on everything from Dinners to Cookies!
Everyone loves a new cookbook, and this one is super fun. How’s this for an enticing title: The Tequila Diet. Chef Dave Martin (alum of Bravo’s Top Chef) explores Mexican food and drink through tequila — a gluten-free spirit!
Nearly every recipe is naturally gluten-free, but the few non-GF recipes like flour tortillas and churros can be made with my gfJules Gluten Free All Purpose Flour (or just use my gluten free Flour Tortilla recipe and gluten free Churros recipes on this site instead).
It’s fun to bake and cook with alcohol as a flavoring (have you tried my gluten free Chocolate Beer Cake?!), and to explore with Chef Martin all the reasons why it enhances flavors and actually offers other benefits. The Tequila Diet is essentially a love letter to tequila; I found it to be creatively written, deliciously photographed and all-around enticing. Plus, I learned a lot about a spirit I’d previously overlooked unless you’d put a margarita in front of me.
The Perfect Last Minute Gifts for Gluten Free Friends
And for the person who has everything … or for a LAST MINUTE GIFT or just a gift anyone would love, give them a gift card so they can pick out what they want from the gfJules Store!!!
Also, a lifetime subscription to the Gluten Dude App is the gift that keeps on giving! All gluten free restaurants in this app are vetted by a celiac (Mr. Dude); it’s a trustworthy and very useful source while traveling, in particular! The lifetime subscription is normally $149, but by using THIS LINK, it’s only $99!

Completely asking a random question….Yorkshire pudding…recipe?
Hi Rose, I don’t have a gluten free Yorkshire Pudding recipe on my site, but I’ve heard from several readers that all they’ve done is to use their family’s recipe and sub in my gfJules Gluten Free All Purpose Flour and the pudding has turned out famously!! Here are some more tips on substituting and converting recipes to gluten free. I hope that works out for you!
